Justice and democracy happens through daily, embodied action. It is the way we make decisions not just the decisions we make. Our vision of supporting democratic workplaces is for everyone who is in the work and realize they need something more.
You are doing the work of keeping your business or organization going. Making decisions with your collective members daily. Sometimes it is inspiring. Sometimes it is really, really hard. You believe in the collective vision that you all share. And you have a nagging feeling that it could be more. More just, more aligned, more successful.
It can be. As collective members, you have so much wisdom about how to be in community and practice democracy in a living, breathing way. And there is a missing piece: acting from a place of embodied democracy. This means awareness and practices to ensure that you are living your collective values. That in your daily actions together - the fun ones and the hard ones - you are embodying your vision of justice and democracy in every moment.

Don’t worry about being perfect. Democracy is messy.
This work is about the long-haul. As you know, democracy is messy, imperfect and sometimes even heartbreaking. But it is in the places that have missed the mark that growth is possible. It’s an opportunity to refine and strengthen your commitment to your vision. This work can strengthen your collective by being in that process together.
